Freelance Creative Content Manager
The Creative Content Manager is an integral part of the social media creation for our wine brand client. This includes creative ideation/concepting and executing lo-fi content remotely and in larger shoots in our studio. You are proactive – jumping on trends, poised – presenting ideas to the larger team/client, and comfortable in front of and behind the camera.
You are excited to help shape the social content for a contemporary, urban wine brand, targeting confident millennials who consider themselves trendsetters. Our wine brand is social, easy-going (not a wine snob) and so are you!
You have a strong understanding of social media culture (IG, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube), a desire to think differently about trends and what social advertising can be, and an ability to make breakthrough work that inspires our audience to like, share, comment, and grow.
Essential Job Functions:
- Concept and execute social content for our wine brand client (20-30 hours a month) that aligns with their goals and brand vision. Includes both creator content and ideating larger campaign ideas; working independently and with the creative team.
- Work closely with the Art Director, Content Strategist, and Copywriter to brainstorm concepts to present to the larger team and key stakeholders (including accounts and the client). Concepts will be presented in a persuasive, professional manner, showing you understand the brand voice and client needs.
- See creative vision through from concept to completion on photo and video shoots by creating production documents, articulating vision to video and photo teams, and being on set for shoots.
- Execute photo/video shoots for social. Includes being behind the camera (comfortable shooting lo-fi with an iPhone) as well as camera facing if/when needed. Shoots will happen in our studio but also in your own space.
- Includes being on-site in our larger studio for shoots 2-3 days every other month. Smaller one-off shoots can happen in the studio or on your own.
- Stay up-to-date on social media, culture, and other aesthetic trends to ensure clients are up to speed and relevant in both content post types and aesthetics.

Requirements:
- 2+ years of related industry experience with an agency or in the social or creator space (food and beverage experience a plus)
- Proficiency in all social platforms including CapCut (Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects a plus)
- Exceptional portfolio/video examples demonstrating conceptual thinking and creative execution both in front of and behind the camera
- Ability to communicate clear creative direction, both conceptually and aesthetically
- Awareness of client budgets, costs, and general management of financial concerns associated with projects
